Rev. Ted and Ruth Brewer

Rev. Ted and Ruth Brewer have served as Directors of New Peace Network since 1995. Between them, they bring over 50 years of ministry experience to their burden for this regional network that helps Christians in New England and the Northeast pursue peace in their relationships to foster renewal in their regions.

Serving together in the pastorate:
Ted met Ruth during his first pastorate. They married and in the 18 ensuing years, Ted served as pastor and senior pastor in several multi-staff churches (independent community churches and a Conservative Baptist congregation) in the Midwest and New England.

Specialized training in peacemaking:
Then in 1995 the Brewers followed God's call to found the New Peace Network. Since then they have received extensive training in Christian conciliation through Peacemaker Ministries and Ted has pursued additional training through the Woodstock Institute for Negotiation and the Academy of Family Mediators.
